Battery maintenance

It's essential to maintain the battery health of your Beacon Pro for optimal performance.

Here are some tips to help you keep your device running smoothly:

  • Regular Battery Check:

Make sure to check the battery status of your Beacon Pro regularly. You can do this by accessing the device settings on your dashboard.

  • Monthly Charging with Powerbank:

To prolong the battery lifespan, it's recommended to charge your Beacon Pro with a power bank at least once every 3 month with the supplied USB-C cable.

  • Permanently Plugged into Power Source:

For continuous operation without worrying about battery levels, consider permanently plugging your Beacon Pro into a power source using a USB-C cable. This way, you can ensure that the battery is always fully charged and ready for use.

A Podcatcher Pro receives information via Bluetooth from a Beacon Pro about the battery status of the beacon. After docking the Podcatcher Pro, this battery status is then transmitted to the Basecamp, which forwards the information to the platform.
Under the 'hardware' navigation item, you can see the status of the Beacon Pro. This is not real-time due to the synchronization processes that need to be performed, resulting in a delay of up to 20 minutes.

Note: When charging the battery, the switch should be set to ON.
It takes 4 hours to fully charge the Beacon Pro when empty.
