Hardware Management Page

The hardware management page gives a quick overview of the state of the hardware of your site. 

It contains the following sections:

Add new Basecamp button:

Allows you to add a new Basecamp to your site through the serial number and link key.

Daily Sync:

This shows the time set for the Daily Sync of the site. Individual Basecamps may have been given an individual Daily Sync time.

Podcatcher:

The Podcatcher section shows an overview of the status of your Podcatchers. A button sends you to the Podcatcher overview, for more detail.

It contains the following pieces of information:

  • Podcatchers Seen Today: Podcatchers that have been synced today. An indication of how many Podcatchers are active on your site.
  • In Use: Podcatchers that have been seen today, but are currently not in a basecamp. An indication of how many Podcatchers are currently being used by your visitors.
  • Ready for Use: Podcatchers that are currently in the basecamp and don't have any issues. An indication of how many Podcatchers are available for your customers to use.
  • Issues: Podcatchers that have issues and have been seen in the past 30 days. These podcatchers have a red LED, and should be returned. Once they have been registered as back at Guide-ID, they will be removed from the list, as well.

Basecamp:

The Basecamp section shows an overview of the status of your Basecamp. A button sends you to the Basecamp overview, for more detail.

It contains the following pieces of information:

  • Linked: The amount of Basecamps currently linked to the site. 
  • Online: The amount of Basecamps which are linked and online. If this isn't the same amount as the amount Linked, something has likely gone wrong.
  • Up to Date: The amount of Basecamps that have the latest updated content published in the Platform.

Tours:

The Tours section shows an overview of the status of your Tour. A button sends you to the tour overview, from where you can inspect and edit your Tours.

It contains the following pieces of information:

  • Tour List: The tours on your site, listed by name.
  • Status: The publish status of your tours, showing whether the tour is published, unpublished, or has waiting changes.
  • Available Podcatchers: The amount of Podcatchers the listed tour is available on, where you can see if a publish and sync has gone well.
