Creating Tours Using AI

The AI Tour Generation feature in the Guide-ID Platform allows you to rapidly create engaging audio tours with minimal effort. This powerful tool takes your basic exhibition information and transforms it into professional, ready-to-use audio stops with consistent narration and optional translations.

Prerequisites

Before starting, ensure you have:

• Active Guide-ID Platform account with access to the AI Tour Generation feature
• Basic exhibition information (titles, themes, key artifacts)
• Clear understanding of your target audience and tour objectives
• A few minutes for initial setup (generation runs in the background)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Initiate Tour Creation

1. Log in to the Guide-ID Platform.
2. Click Add new Tour in the sidebar.
3. In the tour creation wizard, select the AI Generated audio Tour option.
4. Enter a descriptive title for your tour — the AI uses the site name, site domain, and tour name to generate meaningful stop names.
5. Select the number of stops (minimum 2, maximum 10). The Start Stop is always included, so a single-stop tour would not be practical.
6. Stop name suggestions are pre-filled automatically based on the information you provided. You can modify any stop name to change the theme or focus for that stop.

7. Click “Create Tour”.

Tip

Choose titles that help the AI understand what the focus of the tour should be.

2. Review the Created Tour

1. Wait for AI processing to finish — this runs in the background and can take a few minutes. While AI is generating content, individual stops cannot be edited. Upon completion, the system generates:

   • A transcript per language
   • Audio using randomly selected voices

2. For each individual stop, review:

   • Script: Read the script and/or listen to the generated audio. Fine-tune fragments as needed.
   • Voices: Voices are selected randomly.

3. Use “Ask AI” to change the tone of voice or create new translations.
