Who pays for shipping costs?

1 min read Updated Jun 2026

You are responsible for these shipping costs:

  • Initial equipment delivery — shipping from Guide-ID’s warehouse to your location
  • Faulty hardware returns — sending defective Podcatcher Pro, Beacon Pro, or other devices back for repair or replacement
  • End-of-contract returns — returning all equipment when your contract ends

Guide-ID pays for return shipping of repaired or replaced devices back to you. You will receive a tracking number once the shipment is dispatched.

For international shipments, declare the package contents using these values per unit:

ProductDeclared value
Podcatcher Pro€33
Beacon Lite€7
Beacon Pro€13
Brainbox€33
Basecamp€133

Use the description “Warranty goods for repair” (for faulty devices) or “Return shipment of rental equipment” (for end-of-contract).
