Guide-ID Features Overview

2 min read Updated Jun 2026

Guide-ID offers a range of features to customize your audio tour experience. This page summarizes the key features available on the Podcatcher Pro and in the Platform.

Allow a guide to control multiple Podcatcher Pro devices simultaneously. The guide’s device acts as a master, and all connected devices play the same audio in sync — each in the visitor’s own language.

Group Tour Mode

Enable visitors to share a single audio moment together. When one Podcatcher Pro triggers a shared experience, nearby devices join in automatically.

Shared Experience

Visitors can connect their own Bluetooth headphones or earbuds to a Podcatcher Pro for a personal listening experience.

How to Connect Headphones/Earbuds via Bluetooth

Configure Podcatcher Pro devices to automatically start playing an introduction clip when picked up or turned on — no button press needed.

Autostart

Set an alarm to remind visitors to return their Podcatcher Pro at the end of their visit. The device plays an audio reminder after a configurable time.

Alarm

Track Podcatcher Pro devices that haven’t been returned to the Basecamp. The Platform shows which devices are missing and when they were last seen.

Missing Podcatchers

Make a Podcatcher Pro speak serial numbers and codes aloud through the earphone — a service tool for identifying devices and beacons without visible labels.

Pronounce Mode

These features are configured in the Tour Editor:

  • Tour Editor — design branching audio paths with Clipflow connections (buttons and auto-play)
  • Layers and Quizzes — add interactive quiz questions and content layers
  • AI-Generated Tours — create tour content using AI text and speech generation
  • Multiple Languages — set the main language and add translations in Tour Settings
